Peover
Peover is a rural area in Cheshire, England. It is southwest of Chelford and northwest of Jodrellbank.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.itraveluk.co.uk/maps/england/3907/cheshire/peover.html )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.visionofbritain.org.uk/place/1496 )〕 It contains Peover Superior (also called Over Peover), and Peover Inferior (also called Lower Peover or Nether Peover) ,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Lower_Peover,_Cheshire )〕 and Peover Heath. The area is largely flat but has narrow incised gullies along streams. Springs and field drainage in the Peover area join to make a brook called Peover Eye, which runs away north-northwest and runs into the Wincham Brook a bit northeast of Lostock Gralam. See Peover is mentioned in the Domesday Book as "Pevre", from a Celtic word meaning "the bright one" referring to the Peover Eye. ==References==
