Pevno

Pevno (; in older sources also ''Peven'',〔''Leksikon občin kraljestev in dežel zastopanih v državnem zboru,'' vol. 6: ''Kranjsko''. 1906. Vienna: C. Kr. Dvorna in Državna Tiskarna, p. 62.〕 (ドイツ語:Pewen)〔) is a small village in the Municipality of Škofja Loka in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.
==Mass grave==
Pevno is the site of a mass grave from the period immediately after the Second World War. The Matjaž Cave Mass Grave ((スロベニア語:Grobišče Matjaževa jama)) is located on a steep slope 400 m west of the village of Pevno. It contains the remains of Home Guard prisoners of war that were held at Loka Castle and murdered between 25 and 30 May 1945. It may also contain the remains of a group murdered before the end of the war.〔(Matjaž Cave Mass Grave on Geopedia ) 〕〔Florjančič, Alojzij Pavel. 2001. Povojna grobišča v Crngrobu. ''Lošli razgledi'' 28: 217–244, p. 232.〕
