''Pharomachrus'' is a genus of birds in the Trogonidae family. ''Pharomachrus'' is from Ancient Greek ''pharos'', "mantle", and ''makros'', "long", referring to the wing and tail coverts of the resplendent quetzal (the second ''h'' is unexplained). The five species of this genus and the eared quetzal, the only living member of the genus ''Euptilotis'', together make up a group of colourful birds called quetzals. ==Species== * Genus ''Pharomachrus'': * * Crested quetzal, ''Pharomachrus antisianus''. * * Golden-headed quetzal, ''Pharomachrus auriceps''. * * White-tipped quetzal, ''Pharomachrus fulgidus''. * * Resplendent quetzal, ''Pharomachrus mocinno''. * * Pavonine quetzal, ''Pharomachrus pavoninus''. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Pharomachrus」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
