''Piaranthus'' is a genus of plants in the Apocynaceae, first described in 1810.〔Brown, Robert. 1810. On the Asclepiadeae 12.〕 It is native to southern Africa.〔(Tropicos )〕〔Gibbs Russell, G. E., W.
