Pimpfen : ウィキペディア英語版
Pimpfe

Pimpf is a colloquial name for a boy before the voice change.
In the German National Socialism The Pimpfe were the youngest subsection of the Hitler Youth, existing in Nazi Germany from 1933–1945. "From the age of six to ten, a boy served a sort of apprenticeship for the Hitler Youth as a Pimpf." The kids would be taught to be loyal to Hitler and the regime (See Deutsches Jungvolk). Membership in the Hitler Youth was compulsory after 1939.〔Shirer, William L. ''The Rise and Fall Of the Third Reich''. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1960. Print.〕
Nowadays the term is not often used and is not at all associated with national socialism.
