Piozzano is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about northwest of Bologna and about southwest of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 714 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Piozzano contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Groppo Arcelli, Vidiano Soprano, Pomaro, San Gabriele, San Nazaro, Monteventano, Montecanino, and Canova.
