''Pipreola'' is a genus of bird in the family Cotingidae. Together with ''Ampelioides tschudii'', they are collectively known as fruiteaters. All are restricted to humid montane or foothill forest in western or northern South America. They are thickset birds with predominantly greenish upperparts.
