Pogoń
Pogoń or Pahonia ((ベラルーシ語:Пагоня)) is a word used to described the Lithuanian coat of arms. The term was possibly first applied by Marcin Bielski in the 16th century.〔E.Rimša. Heraldry past to present. 2005, p.65〕 The arms represent a Knight-in-pursuit, known as Vytis, and meaning ''the chase''. It has been used by several noble families, like the Sokolski (Pogoń Ruska coat of arms) and the Czartoryski families.
