''Polianthes'' 〔''Sunset Western Garden Book,'' 1995:606–607〕 is a genus of plants in family Asparagaceae, subfamily Agavoideae.〔 It includes tuberose (''Polianthes tuberosa''), a plant that is commonly used in perfume making.
