Ponoviče
Ponoviče ((ドイツ語:Ponowitsch))〔''Leksikon občin kraljestev in dežel zastopanih v državnem zboru,'' vol. 6: ''Kranjsko''. 1906. Vienna: C. Kr. Dvorna in Državna Tiskarna, p. 93.〕 is a settlement along the left bank of the Sava River in the Municipality of Litija in central Slovenia. The railway line from Ljubljana to Zidani Most runs through the settlement. Traditionally the area was part of Lower Styria and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia statistical region.〔(Litija municipal site )〕 The settlement includes the hamlets of Mačkovina and Smrekarica.〔Savnik, Roman, ed. 1971. Ljubljana: Viharnik, p. 85.〕 It was first mentioned in written sources in 1469.〔(Gradovi v Sloveniji: Knežija ) 〕 A large 16th-century mansion with surrounding grounds, known as Ponoviče Castle ((スロベニア語:Grad Ponoviče)), stands on a small elevation above the banks of the Sava east of the settlement.〔(Slovenian Ministry of Culture register of national heritage ) reference number ešd 8768〕
