Potzollcalli : ウィキペディア英語版 | Potzollcalli
Potzollcalli (Nahuatl: House of Pozole) is a popular traditional Mexican restaurant and cafeteria in Mexico. Founded in 1972, it has over 30 locations around the Mexico City metropolitan area and in other large cities. Its name comes from the Nahuatl roots ''Potzolli'' which means "pozole" (from which derived the popular Mexican dish) and ''Calli'', which means "house" or a place destinated to something. ==Pozole== The restaurant offers a wide variety of traditional Mexican food, such as quesadillas, enchiladas and choriqueso, but pozole is the speciality of the house, with four different kinds of pozole from which to choose. One can also choose pork (''maciza'' or ''cabeza'') or chicken in one's pozole, or "light pozole" (no meat). It is offered in three different sizes, with bowls specially designed for pozole. Sliced lettuce, onions, and radishes are offered as garnishes. Potzollcalli also offers many other seasonal specials like seafood, and special beer and pozole combos on Thursdays (known as "Jueves Pozoleros") during the Mexican Soccer League season.
