PowerReviews develops and markets consumer engagement technology for brands and retailers. The company has offices in Chicago, London and San Francisco. PowerReviews was founded in 2005 by Andy Chen and Robert Chea. The company has raised $40.1 million in venture capital from investors including Draper Richards, Menlo Ventures and Tenaya Capital. PowerReviews provides technology and tools for retailers and e-commerce companies to host product reviews on their websites. PowerReviews also works with brands and manufacturers to syndicate reviews from their sites to e-commerce sites where their products are being sold. PowerReviews operates product reviews and recommendations site Buzzillions.com. As of 2014, PowerReviews has more than 22 million consumer reviews and over 1,000 clients. Clients include Skechers, Abt Electronics, Room & Board and Hammacher Schlemmer. ==Acquisition by Viewpoints== In 2012, PowerReviews was acquired by competitor Bazaarvoice for $168 million. The acquisition was blocked by the United States Department of Justice for antitrust concerns. The antitrust concerns focused on the ratings and review industry's relatively small marketplace and the potential importance to adjacent industries. In 2014, consumer reviews company Viewpoints purchased PowerReviews from Bazaarvoice. The two companies combined under the PowerReviews name. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「PowerReviews」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
