''Prasinohaema'' (Greek: "green blood") is a genus of skinks characterized by having green blood. This condition is caused by an excess buildup of the bile pigment biliverdin.〔Austin,C.C. and K. W. Jessing 1994 Green-blood pigmentation in lizards. Comp. Biochem. Physiol. 109A (3): 619-626〕 ''Prasinohaema'' species have plasma biliverdin concentrations approximately 1.5-30 times greater than fish species with green blood plasma and 40 times greater than humans with green jaundice.〔 Species in the genus include: *''Prasinohaema flavipes'', yellow-footed green-blooded skink *''Prasinohaema parkeri'' *''Prasinohaema prehensicauda'' *''Prasinohaema semoni'' *''Prasinohaema virens'', green green-blooded skink == External links == * ''(Prasinohaema )'' in the Reptile Database * (''Green Blood'' ) episode in O'Shea's Big Adventure 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Prasinohaema」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
