Premeno is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about northeast of Turin and about northeast of Verbania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 776 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Premeno contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Esio and Pollino.
