Proodeftiki (Greek: Αθλητικός Όμιλος Προοδευτική, Athletic Club Proodeftiki) is a historical Greek sports club of Nikaia. Founded in 1927, in Nikaia and its home ground is the Municipal Stadium of Nikaia. The motto of the club's emblem is the mythical long-lived bird, the Phoenix. The club is one of the most historic clubs in Greece and has a longstanding presence in Super League. Have participated so far in the Super League 15 times(1959-1960 ,1960-1961 , 1961-1962 , 1962-1963, 1964-1965 , 1965-1966 , 1966-1967 , 1967-1968 , 1969-1970 , 1970-1971 , 1997-1998 , 1998-1999 , 1999-2000 , 2002-2003 , 2003-2004). The 2006-2007 was one of the worst seasons in the club's history and would be relegated to the Third Division. However, due to bankruptcy, relegated to the Greek Fourth Division for first time in club's history. In 2013-2014 Proodeftiki relegated from Group 5 of Football League 2 and this year the football club is playing in the First Division of Piraeus Football Clubs Association, which is the worst season in history of Proodeftiki.
