Psocidae is a family of the insect order Psocoptera, the booklice. Members of this family are recognised by their wing-venation, where the areola postica is fused to the M-vein, giving rise to the so-called discoidal cell. This family is closely related to Myopsocidae. The family is widespread, including New Zealand. Genera include: *''Blaste'' *''Cerastipsocus'' *''Clematostigma'' *''Trichadenotecnum'' ==Sources== *Lienhard, C. & Smithers, C. N. 2002. Psocoptera (Insecta): World Catalogue and Bibliography.
