Psychemodo is a garage rock band from Birmingham in the UK. They are currently in rotation on BBC Radio with their debut charity single "She's So Clean". Influences range from The Clash to Beethoven and recent reviews have seen the band compared with The Goo Goo Dolls, Arcade Fire and The Fray. They are a 5 piece consisting of: * Stuart Stevens - guitar / vocals * Jools Tyler - bass * Dave Rowlands - drums * Pete Sweeney - lead vocals / guitar * Rachel Button - vocals / violin In the winter of 2006, a meeting between founder member Stevens and BBC Production/WM's Ben Turner's New York Researcher, Richi Davis, began to move the band forward. Davis was then enlisted to plan a New York tour and to orchestrate BBC airplay and appearances for May and June 2007. Next up for the band as will be completion of the debut single 'She's So Clean' promo video with Water Aid, Cannes nominated film maker Praveen Chrispugg and Producer, Gill Heaton coupled together with a New York tour and a UK tour in the Fall of 2007 In September 2007, Stuart Stevens' Requiem For New York will receive its world and New York Premiere. This will be covered in full by BBC Radio both in New York and in the UK. Due to musical differences, the band parted company, although continued to work together on various projects. Richi Davis continued working with Stevens for a brief period, then continued concentrating on bands in the US.
