Pukahirka (Quechua ''puka'' red, Ancash Quechua ''hirka'' mountain, "red mountain", hispanicized spellings ''Pukachirka, Pucahirca, Pucajirca'') is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 6,046 m (19,836 ft) high.〔John Biggar, The Andes: A Guide for Climbers, p. 63〕 It is located in the Ancash Region, Pomabamba Province, Pomabamba District (Pukahirka North) as well as in the Huaylas Province, Yuracmarca District (Pukahirka Central)〔escale.minedu.gob.pe - Map of the Huaylas Province〕 north of the Rinrihirka.
