''Pyrilia'' is a genus of parrots in the family Psittacidae. It was recently split from the now-monotypic ''Pionopsitta'', and then briefly moved to ''Gypopsitta''. But as ''Pyrilia'' was published a few months before ''Gypopsitta'', the latter is a junior synonym.〔(Use of Pyrilia over Gypospsitta ). Richard C. Banks, February 2008, to the South American Classification Committee. Accessed 2008-06-22〕 All are relatively short-tailed parrots that are restricted to forests in the Neotropics. Their head or face contrasts clearly with the mainly green body, and they have a brownish or olive patch on the chest. ==Species== * Brown-hooded parrot, ''Pyrilia haematotis'' * Rose-faced parrot, ''Pyrilia pulchra'' * Saffron-headed parrot, ''Pyrilia pyrilia''〔http://www.iucnredlist.org/details/106001645/0〕 * Orange-cheeked parrot, ''Pyrilia barrabandi'' * Caica parrot, ''Pyrilia caica'' * Bald parrot or orange-headed parrot, ''Pyrilia aurantiocephala''〔http://www.birdlife.org/datazone/speciesfactsheet.php?id=31070〕 * Vulturine parrot, ''Pyrilia vulturina''〔http://www.iucnredlist.org/details/106001647/0〕 ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Pyrilia」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
