Qiwñaqucha
Qiwñaqucha (Quechua ''qiwña, qiwuña'' ''polylepis'', ''qucha'' lake, hispanicized spelling ''Queuñacocha'') or Hatun Qiwñaqucha〔Asociación Ecosistemas Andinos – ECOAN, Queuña Nº 2, 1 de Julio de 2019 (see map)〕 is a small lake in Peru located in the Urupampa mountain range of the Cusco Region. It is located in the Calca Province, Lares District. The lake lies north of Ch'iqun, Siriwani and Paru Urqu and southwest of Kiswarani. It is situated at a height of about 4,170 m. It is 0.2 km long and 0.14 km at its widest point. West of it there is another small lake called Killaqucha. Qiwñaqucha lies in the private conservation area 'Hatun Qiwña Kiswarani Qullana' (''Hatun Queuña Quishuarani Collana'') of the rural community Kiswarani Qullana (Quishuarani Collana).〔〔(tripadvisor.in ) "Laguna de Queuñacocha"〕 It was founded in 2009.
