R.K.Khadilkar

Raghnath Keshav Khadilkar was an Indian National Congress politician from Pune Maharashtra. He was Deputy Sepaker of 4th Lok Sabha during 03-28–67 to 11-01–69.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Fourth Lok Sabha )
He was born at Naringa in Taluka Devgad of Ratnagiri district of then Bombay Province on 15 December 1905. He studied at Fergusson college and Law College at Pune under University of Bombay. He was Secretary of Maharashtra Youth Congress in 1931. He was one of the founder Members of the Congress Socialist Party in 1934. He worked as Publicity Secretary for Faizpur Session of the Indian National Congress in 1936. He was Member of Indian National Congress between 1930–48 and 1962 onwards.
He left Congress in 1948 and formed the All India Peasants and Workers' Party with other colleagues. In 1953 he was elected as its General Secretary in 1953. He was member of second Lok Sabha elected from Ahmednagar as Mazdoor Kisan Party candidate in 1957. As Congress candidate he won third and fourth Lok sabha elections from Khed in 1962 and 1967. In 1971 he won fifth Lok Sabha elections from Baramati. He was Minister of Supply and Minister in the Ministry of Finance during November 1969-June, 1970 and later Minister of Supply during June 1970-March, 1971. After 1971 he was Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation.
He died in 1979 and survived by four daughters.〔
