In 1997, Rational Software, Inc., a Cupertino, CA, firm specializing in products that model and aid in software development, acquired SQA, Inc. RTTS joined the Rational value-added reseller (VAR) program. RTTS supports tools from Rational Software (now a part of IBM), Mercury Interactive (now part of Hewlett-Packard), Microsoft, Compuware (now part of Micro Focus International), Borland (now part of Micro Focus), Citrix Systems, Tevron, and open source tools such as Selenium (software) and Apache JMeter.
