Ramphastides is an infraorder of the Piciformes order, that includes toucans and barbets. Formerly the barbets have been classified in a single family, Capitonidae.〔LL Short, JFM Horne (2002) Family Capitonidae (barbets). in del Hoyo J., Elliott A. & Christie D.A. (2004) ''Handbook of the Birds of the World. Volume 7. Jamacars to Woodpeckers'' Lynx Edicions, Barcelona ISBN 84-87334-37-7〕 However, this has turned out to be paraphyletic with regard to toucans which resulted Capitonidae being split up into several families.〔Sibley, Charles Gald & Ahlquist, Jon Edward (1990): ''Phylogeny and classification of birds''. Yale University Press, New Haven, Conn.〕〔Moyle, R. G. (2004). Phylogenetics of barbets (Aves: Piciformes) based on nuclear and mitochondrial DNA sequence data. Molecular phylogenetics and evolution, 30(1), 187-200.〕 ==Systematics== Ramphastides contains five extant family. Sometimes Ramphastides is treated as a superfamily instead as Ramphastoidea.〔Simpson, S. F., & Cracraft, J. (1981). The phylogenetic relationships of the Piciformes (Class Aves). The Auk, 481-494.〕 *Infraorder Ramphastides * *Megalaimidae - Asian barbets * *Lybiidae - African barbets * *Capitonidae - American barbets * *Semnornithidae - Toucan-barbets * *Ramphastidae - Toucans 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Ramphastides」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
