Rategain Travel Technologies Pvt. Ltd., simply known as RateGain, is software solution provider headquartered in Noida, India with offices in UK, US, Turkey, Spain, UAE and Thailand. It was started by entrepreneur Bhanu Chopra. It specializes in providing Software as a service (SaaS) solutions to the hospitality and travel industry. RateGain was founded in 2004.〔 by founder and current CEO, Bhanu Chopra. Chopra identified the business need of providing price comparison products for travel websites to benchmark their product offering versus their competitors.〔 Started with just a hundred thousand dollars, it recorded a growth of 2,641%〔 in first 3 years of its operations and was valued at over $40 million〔 in 2009. (TA Associates, a leading global growth private equity firm, has recently announced investment in RateGain ). The young RateGain brigade joined hands for a (FlashMob Dance ) to promote the use of SwachchBin on Raahgiri Day, New Delhi. To transform RateGain into a learning organization and encourage a culture of continual learning among employees, the company has recently launched a training and development initiative called 'RateGain Lighthouse' that symbolizes strength, guidance and direction. Various in-house training sessions on knowledge-building and skills & process are regularly conducted.
