Reichlingia annae
''Reichlingia annae'' is the single species of the genus ''Reichlingia''. It is a member of the Ischnocolinae〔http://www.tarantupedia.com/ischnocolinae〕 and comes from Belize. The species was described in 1997 as ''Acanthopelma annae'' by Steven B. Reichling, but then changed to ''Reichlingia'' by Rudloff in 2001. Its species name, annae, comes from Steven's wife, Ann, who helped with the arachnological investigation.〔http://www.tarantupedia.com/ischnocolinae/reichlingia/reichlingia-annae〕
== Characteristics == The male is characterized by incrassate palpal tibia, preapical embolar process, and unmodified tibial spurs. The female is characterized by a unique abdominal pattern.
