''Rhyacornis'' is a genus of bird in the Muscicapidae (Old World flycatcher) family. Established by William Thomas Blanford in 1872, it contains the following species:〔 * Luzon water redstart (''Rhyacornis bicolor'') * Plumbeous water redstart (''Rhyacornis fuliginosa'') The taxonomic placement of the two species in this genus has, over the years, been somewhat controversial.〔 Some ornithologists instead included them in the genus ''Chaimarrornis'' with the white-capped water redstart. Others subsumed both this genus and ''Chaimarrornis'' into the genus ''Phoenicurus'', with the rest of the redstarts.〔 The name ''Rhyacornis'' is a compound word created from the Greek words ''rhuax'', meaning "torrent", and ''ornis'', meaning "bird".〔 ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Rhyacornis」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
