Riverstick () is a village in Ireland lying south of Cork, halfway between Cork and Kinsale, on the Cork to Kinsale road.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,565804,558022,7,9 )〕 The village is named literally, after the River Stick which flows through the village. The village has a growing population; several large housing developments have been built in the area in recent years. During the course of the 20th Century, Riverstick supplanted nearby Ballymartle as the major village and population centre in the area. Ballymartle is now little more than a crossroads, although some of the older institutions associated with Riverstick, such as the GAA club still carry the name 'Ballymartle'. ==Facilities== Facilities in the village include: *Roman Catholic and Church of Ireland churches *Two pubs *A grocery store *A service station *A community hall *A Gaelic Athletic Association club, Ballymartle. *A Documentary Photographer (www.philipbourke.com) *A Traditional Fish & Chip Shop (A&Js) *A Pharmacy *An athletics club, Riverstick-Kinsale AC 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Riverstick」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
