Rūjiena

Rūjiena (; (ロシア語:Руен); (ドイツ語:Rujen); (エストニア語:Ruhja)) is a town in Latvia, seat of the homonym municipality, in the former district of Valmiera. As of 2010 its population was of 3,377.〔 (Latvian population statistics of 2010 )〕
==Geography==
The town is located in northern Latvia, near the borders with Estonia, in the historical region of Vidzeme (anciently part of Livonia). It is 50 km far from Valmiera, 91 from Pärnu and 152 from Riga.
