Samito : ウィキペディア英語版
Samito

Samito is a singer-songwriter from Montréal whose music blends acoustica & electronica to create a distinct sound in part inspired by his upbringing in Maputo. He is the son of an anglican priest and a mom of five who enrolled him at Escola Nacional de Música far from thinking he would ever choose music for a career.
==Early Life & Career ==

After several years working as a musician in Maputo and Cape Town, Samito moved to Montréal to pursue studies and a career in music. Here he had the opportunity to work with Nom de Plume, Renji Condore, Kweku, The New Groove Orchestra, Emma & The Noise, among others. On May 19, 2015, Radio Canada announced Samito as the 2015-2016 Revelation for the World Music category. ''Xico – xico'', his debut album, due for fall 2015 explores Samito's disruptive cultural experience and brings the groove into a new place, a place where new afro aesthetics will electrify the crowds.
