Satiah
Satiah (also, ''Sitiah, Sitioh;'' “Daughter of the Moon”) was an Ancient Egyptian queen, the Great Royal Wife of Thutmose III.〔Aidan Dodson & Dyan Hilton: ''The Complete Royal Families of Ancient Egypt''. Thames & Hudson, 2004, ISBN 0-500-05128-3, p.140〕 ==Family==
Satiah was the daughter of the royal nurse Ipu.〔Dodson & Hilton, p.140〕 It is possible that her father was the important official Ahmose Pen-Nekhebet.〔(Anneke Bart: ''The New Kingdom Tombs of El Kab / Nekhen'' )〕 No children of Satiah are known, though there is a possibility that Prince Amenemhat – Thutmose's eldest son, who died before his father – was her son.〔Dodson & Hilton, pp.132-133,137,140〕 Satiah died during her husband's reign and Thutmose's next Great Royal Wife was Merytre-Hatshepsut.
