The adjectival form of the Latin name of the diocese is ''Satrianensis''. The current titular archbishop is Patrick Coveney. ==History of the see== The diocese was set up by Pope Urban II on 20 July 1098, and continued to exist even after the destruction of the town in 1430. On 19 July 1525 the diocese of Campagna was set up and was united with that of Satriano.
