Schoeneus
In Greek mythology, Schoeneus (Σχοινεύς) was the name of several individuals:

''Skhoinoûs''〕 and where his children were believed to have originated from. He was the father of Atalanta,〔Pseudo-Apollodorus, ''Bibliotheca'', 1. 8. 2; 1. 9. 16; Diodorus Siculus, ''Library of History'', 4. 34. 4; 4. 41. 2; hence her patronymic Schoineïa or Schoeneïs in Roman poets (e. g.
