The Sclerogibbidae are a small family of aculeate wasps in the superfamily Chrysidoidea. ==Overview== Sclerogibbidae are ectoparasitoids of Embioptera. The female wasp oviposits an egg on the abdomen of a host. Once the larva emerges, it attaches itself to its host. After the host is consumed, the larva detaches itself from the carcass and spins a cocoon. The currently recognised subfamilies of the Sclerogibbidae family are:〔 Engel MS, Grimaldi DA , The First Cretaceous Sclerogibbid Wasp (Hymenoptera: Sclerogibbidae), in American Museum Novitates, number 3515:1-7, 2006.〕 * †Sclerogibbodinae * Sclerogibbinae ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Sclerogibbidae」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
