Sex'n'Crime

''Sex'n'Crime'' was the first computer scene magazine (also known as ''scene mags'' or ''disk mags'') to be published on floppy disc. It was published by Amok Entertainment for the Commodore 64 on a monthly basis, from 1989 until the mid-1990s. At the height of its popularity ''Sex'n'Crime'' had over half a million readers and was distributed on newsstands by CP Verlag, a subsidiary of Germany's largest magazine publishing house, Gong Verlag.
Due to its international popularity, ''Sex'n'Crime'' spawned many (imitations on the Commodore 64 ) and later also numerous (imitations on the Amiga ). Hence it could be considered the grandfather of websites like The iSO News and today's blogs.
''Sex'n'Crime''s influence can still be felt, because words like graphician, first used by the editor of ''Sex'n'Crime'', are still in use among many computer users around the world.
