Shivdwar, the Temple of Uma Maheshwar is located 10 km from Ghorawal in Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh. The Shivdwar temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, and was build in the 11th Century. ==structure and Uniqueness== The USP of Uma Maheshwar statue is that the Shiva-Parvati are visible in romantic pose. The statue is made of black stone which is three feet high in the Lashya Style. It is said that it is only temple of Lord Shiva in the world where the holy water is not offered to the Lingam , the holy water is offered to the deity. No other statue of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati in this posture exist anywhere in the world.
