Faedis ((スロベニア語:Fojda)) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about northwest of Trieste and about northeast of Udine, on the border with Slovenia. , it had a population of 3,101 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 According to the 1971 census, 23,2% of the population are Slovenes.
