Sokimex (or SOKIMEX) ''(Sok Kong Import Export Company)'' is a company of Cambodia. The company is involved in petroleum product import, infrastructure development, hotel management, and an airline.〔(SOKIMEX, Company profile )〕
Sokimex was founded in 1990 by Mr Oknha Sok Kong, an ethnic Vietnamese Cambodian businessman.〔(Tôi là người Việt Nam! ), 20 Tháng mười một 2004, Doan Trang, Vietbao.vn〕 The main offices are located in Phnom Penh.
Sokimex is also running the famous Angkor World Heritage Site.

Overview
The Sokha Hotels & Resorts also known as Sokha Hotel Group is a Phnom Penh-based hotel and resort company, the hospitality division under the Sokimex Group. The company was founded in 2004 by Neak Oknha Sok Kong. Today, Sokha Group has 4 hotel properties located in Cambodia with plans to open more in the future.
History
The Sokha Hotel Group opened its first 5 star luxury Sokha Beach Resort in Sihanouk Ville on 8 April 2004 followed by the opening of Sokha Angkor Resort in Siem Reap on 8 December 2005. Both are member of World Hotel. Sokha Club hotel is a boutique hotel opened in Phnom Penh on 28 August 2008. Thansur Bokor Highland Resort is affiliated with Sokha Hotel opened in Kampot on 3 May 2011.
