Spoonfed Media was founded by entrepreneurs Henry Erskine Crum and Alexander Will who met as students while studying at the London School of Economics in 2004. Will and Erskine Crum officially founded the company in July 2007, the day after their graduation from the London School of Economics and appointed their mentor and MD of LinkedIn Europe, Kevin Eyres, as company chairman.〔http://eu.techcrunch.com/2009/01/16/get-spoonfed-local-events-rated-by-the-crowd/〕 In December 2009 Erskine Crum and Will were picked as winners in the Courvoisier The Future 500 competition〔http://www.guardian.co.uk/courvoisier500/courvoisier-top-five-winners〕 and were chosen to host a panel at the 2010 South by Southwest (SXSW) Technology conference in Austin, Texas. As of April 2010 Spoonfed Media has raised a total of £1 million across two funding rounds from leading technology and media angel investors.
