Sturton le Steeple is a village in Nottinghamshire, England. It is located 6 miles east of Retford. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 497.〔("Area: Sturton le Steeple CP (Parish)" )〕 The parish church of St Peter and St Paul has a 14th-century tower with 12 pinnacles. Penguin.〕 Pastor John Robinson was born in Sturton Le Steeple about 1576, the first child of John and Ann Robinson.
