Sulop is a third class municipality in the province of Davao del Sur, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 32,163 people.〔
Sulop is part of Region XI and is about from Digos City, the seat of the provincial government of Davao del Sur. The municipality is located halfway between two major growth centers of Mindanao, namely, Davao City of Region XI and General Santos City of Region XII.
