Sunbeamland
Sunbeamland is the name of the former motorcycle factory site at Paul Street, off the Penn Road island in Wolverhampton, England, that was previously home to John Marston Ltd, Sunbeam Cycle Works and Sunbeam Motor Company. The factory produced Sir Malcolm Campbell's ''Bluebird Sunbeam'' car which set a world speed record in 1924.〔
The building, disused since the late 1990s, was declined Listed Building status by English Heritage; Wolverhampton City Council however provided their own local 'listed' status.〔
Previously owned by Urban Splash, a British company which regenerates decaying industrial buildings, their intended-project was sold in 2013 to property developer and former rugby player Liam Wordley who bought the site with the intention of converting it for residential use.
