''Sundarapandian'' ((タミル語:சுந்தரபாண்டியன்)) is a 2012 Indian Tamil comedy drama film directed by debutant S. R. Prabhakaran, a former associate of M. Sasikumar. Sasikumar himself played the titular character, besides producing the film, while Lakshmi Menon, Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Inigo Prabhakaran and Soundararaja appeared in supporting roles. Music was composed by N. R. Raghunanthan, while cinematography was handled by Premkumar of ''Pasanga'' fame. The film released on 14 September 2012 to overall positive reviews. Following its commercial success, the film is planned to be remade in Kannada as ''Raja Huli'' and Telugu by director Bhimaneni Srinivasa of ''Sudigadu'' fame.
==Plot==
Sundarapandian (M. Sasikumar) is a son of rich landlord in Kandamanoor leads a happy life and spends all time with his friends. Sundarapandian ensures that he is always of some help to his friends. One day, he goes to ensure that his friend's(Inigo Prabhakaran) love is conveyed to a girl Archana (Lakshmi Menon), who happens to be his ex-flame. As it happens, she falls for Sundarapandian again. But trouble begins through Paranjothi (Soundararaja) he joined and planned together with Jegan (Vijay Sethupathi). A murder happens and the blame falls on Sundarapandian and then some twist and turns that forms the climax .
