Sybreed was a Swiss industrial metal band from Geneva. ==History== Sybreed was formed in 2003 by vocalist Benjamin Nominet and guitarist Thomas Betrisey; they had previously worked together in a band called Rain. In 2004, Sybreed released its first album, ''Slave Design''. Most of the tour promoting this album was in Europe, with some dates scheduled in the United States. 〔http://bravewords.com/news/sybreed-lyzanxia-freakhouse-harsh-reality-2004-tour-schedule-updated〕 In early 2006, drummer Alex Anxonnia left the band because of creative and personal issues. During a brief hiatus, Dirk Verbeuren of Soilwork and Scarve agreed to play session drums while Sybreed recorded its next album. After production was completed, Kevin Choiral was confirmed as the band′s new permanent drummer. On July 7, 2007, it was announced that the band had signed a deal with Listenable Records for a European release of its new album ''Antares'' in October of that year. The album was released on 15 August 2008 in the United States, but included a bonus track, "Plasmaterial". On June 29, 2009, Sybreed′s official website announced that the band's bass guitarist, Luis “Burn” Da Silva Cruz, would leave the band. Although it was originally stated on the website that he would still participate in their US tour beginning on July 17, 2009, he did not. Instead they enlisted the bass guitarist Hector Gonzalez, a member of the Los Angeles thrash band Flatline, as a temporary replacement to complete the United States tour. At the end of the tour, in an update on their website dated August 31, 2009, Sybreed confirmed Stephane Grand as their new permanent bass player. The band released its third studio album, ''The Pulse of Awakening'', in Europe on November 16, 2009. On April 7, 2010, Sybreed′s song "Doomsday Party" was released as a downloadable track on the video game, ''Rock Band''. It was announced on October 9, on the official website that the band would start its first Australian tour, with Anno Domini as the main support act. On December 12, 2011, Sybreed began recording a fourth album, ''God Is An Automaton'', with the mixing scheduled for April 2012 in Los Angeles with Rhys Fulber. It was released in Europe on September 24, 2012, and in North America on October 2, 2012, through Listenable Records. On October 28, 2012, Thomas "Drop" Betrisey said in a comment on Sybreed's Facebook page that the official "The Line Of Least Resistance" music video (filmed in Paris earlier that year), was to be released in November. A live video of "No Wisdom Brings Solace" was to follow after this.〔http://www.facebook.com/molwage/posts/455052711204205〕 On October 29, 2013, after being in the band for 10 years, Sybreed announced on its Facebook page that the founder and lead vocalist Benjamin Nominet had left, citing personal and professional reasons, which caused the band to drop their tour with Soilwork. The band decided that it would not replace Nominet, and instead would take time off to focus on other projects.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/sybreed-singer-quits-band-pulls-out-of-soilwork-tour/ )〕 On July 9, 2014, it was announced on the band's Facebook page that Sybreed had officially disbanded but that the remaining members were "gathered around a brand new project." Details on the new project were kept secret for the time being. On December 3, 2014, Thomas "Drop" Betrisey announced on the band's Facebook page that he, Kevin Choiral and Ales Campanelli were working on a new project called "Obsydians". The new band would not have a permanent singer, but the musical style would stay "in the logical continuity of Sybreed." 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Sybreed」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
