== Biography ==
Since the end of the 1990s, Systaime has been part of the "internationale échantillonniste" collective,〔''Jean-Luc Godard, documents'', Centre Pompidou, p. 440, ISBN 978-2-84426-299-8〕 a group of Parisian underground artists that published its manifesto in ''Libération'' in March 2000.〔"L'échantillonnisme. Vous ne voulez déjà plus en entendre parler." in ''Libération'' 30 March 2000 p. 34 (printed version)〕 His videos were first presented VHS format.
Before the YouTube era, Systaime produced "webfilms" and was one of the first contributors to Dailymotion. He reached a large audience in France when he collaborated with the artist Polémix et La Voix Off in making nonsense political discourses using the familiar voices of Jacques Chirac and Nicolas Sarkozy. The audio tracks were described by situationists as "détournement". He added visuals to Polémix's works, for example, a virtual version of the French president in a second life universe. In 2010, he became a regular contributor to ''Libération'' magazine.
Systaime created Neticones, a website that depicts pop art as a mosaic of net icons, and presented a program that enables any user to do the same with their photos.〔 He participated in the Internet pavilion at the 2011 Venice Biennale. In 2011, he was one of the first contributors to ARTE Creative, a German-French web platform that also hosts a television channel. He is one of the French initiators of "facebook art"; he uses the Facebook account "ʞooqǝɔɐɟ", which has been regarded as a more abstract artistic response to social media and has themes of resistance.〔 At the end of 2011, he founded the Super Art Modern Art Museum (French: Super Art Moderne Musee) (SPAMM), a digital art collection of over 50 artists.
