Talar ((ペルシア語:تالار)) is the architectural term given to the throne of the Persian monarchs which is carved on the rock-cut tomb of Darius at Naqsh-e Rostam, near Persepolis, and above the portico which was copied from his palace. It is also an Armenian name given to females and some males. It means evergreen.
