Teslin is the anglicized form of the name of the ''Deisleen Ḵwáan'' ("Big Sinew Tribe") of the Tlingit people, one of two ''ḵwáan'' that are today incorporated as the Teslin Tlingit Council government in the Yukon Territory of northern Canada.
