Bordering the Netherlands to the north and the Walloon province of Liège ((オランダ語:Luik)) to the south, it is geographically detached from the rest of Flanders. About 25% of the population is made up of foreign nationals, most of whom have Dutch nationality. ==Villages== The municipality consists of the six villages of 's-Gravenvoeren ((フランス語:Fourons-le-Comte)), Sint-Pieters-Voeren ((フランス語:Fourons-Saint-Pierre)), Sint-Martens-Voeren ((フランス語:Fourons-Saint-Martin)), Moelingen ((フランス語:Mouland)), Teuven and Remersdaal ((フランス語:Rémersdael), (ワロン語:Rèbiévå)).
