Thens are gods or spirits worshipped in Tai folklore, predominantly Lao. They play a prominent role in the Phra Lak Phra Lam and the stories of Khun Borom. In Laos and Northern Thailand the origins of human society, practical skills and culture are attributed to three divine ancestors, the Thens, and three earthly ancestors, who are sometimes known simply as the three great men. ==See also== *Terms of the Chinese cultural world and its derivatives: * *''Tian'' (or (天 ) on Wiktionary), a probably antecedent Chinese term predating Thens meaning roughly god, heaven or immortal. * *''Shen'' ((神 ) on Wiktionary), a possibly related Chinese term roughly meaning spirit or immortal. * 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Thens」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
