Timea Tímea, Timea or, originally, Timéa is a female given name which is popular mostly in Hungary and Hungarian-speaking regions such as parts of Transylvania (Romania) and Slovakia. The name was created by the popular Hungarian author Mór Jókai for a figure in his 1872 novel ''Az arany ember'' (literally "The Golden Man", English title ''The Man with the Golden Touch''). It is derived from ''Euthymia'', a Greek noun meaning "sweet natured". In Hungary "Tímea" is the only spelling with which the name can be given to children. ==Famous Timeas==
