Tirli is a village in Tuscany, central Italy, administratively a frazione of the comune of Castiglione della Pescaia, province of Grosseto. At the time of the 2001 census its population amounted to 284.〔 (Popolazione residente - Grosseto (dettaglio loc. abitate) - Censimento 2001 ), Istat.〕 Tirli is about 28 km from Grosseto and 18 km from Castiglione della Pescaia, and it is situated on a hill next to the top of Poggio Ballone. The village dates back to the Early Middle Ages, as it was mentioned in a document of 814.
